The challenge
To provide competent advice and support for operations in Wrexham and Plas Madoc, including fire risk assessments of the buildings and risk assessments of the main office, Shopmobility, The Children’s Centre and The Land Playground where outdoor activities are held.
Services provided
An initial CAM Review identified key areas where support should be targeted and highlighted various training courses to improve the staff’s understanding of their responsibilities. Fire risk assessments were completed on all buildings and documentation was updated and/or created as necessary. Access to the Hamilton Deed consultant by both email and phone ensured that any queries were addressed without delay and the relationship has flourished since it first began.
The outcome
Hamilton Deed has worked closely with the Senior Team at AVOW since 2012 to improve both the processes and training available to their staff at all locations. Hamilton Deed gives AVOW the confidence that they carry out their activities safely and in the most practical manner.
